Sideline Pass Cutie of the Week: 11/1/09
By Nkeshi Free

Braylon Edwards
Wide Receiver Braylon Edwards, has gone from the Browns to Broadway. After an unproductive year, and allegedly getting into an altercation with a friend of LeBron James outside a Cleveland night

club, the Browns traded their troubled star to the New York Jets.  The former University of Michigan Wolverine has had more than his share of ups and downs since entering the NFL in the 2005 Draft.  In 2007 he was destined for greatness with 16 touchdowns – second only to Randy Moss. That year Edwards made his first Pro Bowl appearance. In 2008, however, Edwards, like the Browns, struggled as he lead the league in dropped passes.  Despite his on and off-field issues, Edwards had no difficulties making this list.

Jason Taylor

Jason Taylor, Jason Taylor….Really, do I have to say anything?  For most female fans, Taylor danced on the scene in Season Six of ABC’s hit show

“Dancing with the Stars.” But for die hard fans, this Pennsylvania native has been setting hearts on fire since he entered the league in the third round of the 1997 NFL Draft.  Selected by the Miami Dolphins, Taylor is a six-time Pro Bowler and the 2006 NFL Defensive Player of the Year.  Unfortunately, not everyone was excited about Taylor’s fancy footwork off the field, and he was traded in 2008 to the Washington Redskins.  While he enhanced the visual appeal of the Redskins, after one unsuccessful year marked by injury, Taylor returned to the warm weather of Miami in 2009, starting for the Dolphins after signing a one-year deal.  While I don’t know if/where Taylor will play next year, this super cutie will make any woman’s heart leap!

Tony Romo
Is it his “Boy Next Door” Charm, his dimples, or his easy smile that makes Tony Romo so

irresistible?  Whether you get lost in those beautiful brown eyes, or cavernous dimples Romo makes you feel like he looking right at you every time he stares into the camera.  Is it any wonder that someone with “All American” looks leads “America’s Team?”  Romo is the personification of the American Dream.  Romo signed to the Dallas Cowboys in 2003 as an undrafted rookie free agent, but with time, dedication and hard work, he took the starting position from Drew Bledsoe during half time of the NY Giants game in 2006 and hasn’t looked back.  From undrafted to overnight success, Romo certainly has that “star” quality.  While he hasn’t won the big one, he’s certainly #1 in hearts across America.
