Ladies, as we head into the Thanksgiving Holiday, I found three wonderful sexy reasons to be “thankful” for the NFL, LOL!! Since this is the holiday season, I am going to do my part and share some of this sexiness with you! This week is dedicated to the SEXY members of the 2003 NFL Draft class and all three were taken in the third round. This just goes to show that sometimes you have to wait to get to the good stuff, and trust do these men look good!!! So as you prepare for long trips, long weekends with or at the in-laws, or just slaving away over a hot stove, just know that I slaved away to bring you some holiday treats to brighten your day… So……as always you know what to do….enjoy!

Lance Briggs #55, Chicago Bears OLB

Look At Lance!

I’m excited this week to have another defensive player added to the cutie list. There is a stereotype that offensive players are the better looking players, but ladies this sexy man, can tackle or sack me ANYTIME!!! I’m hoping he can keep me warm in the “Windy City” or Chi-Town, as it is also called. Lance Briggs is a 5-time Pro-Bowl Linebacker with the Chicago Bears and he is fine as wine! Drafted out of the University of Arizona Briggs is only the fourth in the Bears franchise history to be selected to five Pro Bowls back to back. He named NFC Defensive Player of the Week in 2009 for the week 3 game in which he recorded eight tackles, a sack and interception in a single game. Briggs career record is a total of 871 tackles, 6 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, 7 fumble recoveries and 9 interceptions. In addition to his Pro Bowl selections he was also named three times to the All-Pro team in 2005, 2006, and 2009. As part of the Bears trademark defense, along with fellow teammate and past cutie Brian Urlacher, Briggs helped the Bears reach the historic 2007 Super Bowl featuring two African-American Head Coaches, Indianapolis Colts former head coach Tony Dungy and Bears Lovie Smith. So ladies, fine, strong and oh yes, he gives back through his foundation Briggs4Kids…yes Lawd, I am thankful for this eye candy.

Chris Cooley #47, Washington Redskins TE

Chris Looking Cool!

As you know, my FAVORITE position is the tight end, and I truly enjoy looking at the latest one to join the “Cutie List.” In addition to being good looking, he’s just so “cool.”  I’m talking about none other than #47 of the Washington Redskins, Chris Cooley!!   Drafted by the Redskins with the 81st pick in the 2004 draft, Cooley has been a bright spot for the burgundy and gold’s unstable offensive unit.  This cornbread fed cutie (if you doubt me, take a look at his buns, LOL) out of Utah State University, has given ‘Skins fans much to cheer about with his spectacular play on the field.  In his second season with the ‘Skins Cooley set a team record for receptions by a tight end by catching 71 passes for 774 yards.  Cooley was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2005, was an alternate in 2006 and made the Pro Bowl again in 2007 and 2008.  In 2009 he suffered a season ending injury when he broke his ankle and was placed on injured reserve.  This cutie first caught my attention in a commercial promoting why he should be selected as a fantasy football player, when he caught a pass thrown at him by punching his hands through a wall. Not only was I impressed with his hands, but the cutie with the scruffy beard and the curly hair.  Yes, ladies, I would LOVE to run my fingers through his hair, LOL!!

Jason Witten #82, Dallas Cowboys TE

Jason!

I told you I like tight ends, and this player has GOT to be my favorite tight end currently playing in the NFL!!!  Yes, I’m biased because he is a member of “America’s Team,” my team, the Dallas Cowboys!!  In addition to being part of the greatest legacy in the NFL, he’s also fine as all outdoors!!!  Jason Witten, a third round draft pick in 2003 from the University of Tennessee has been an explosive offensive weapon! With 87 catches in 2004, he set a Cowboys team record for the most catches by a tight end, ranked 11 in NFL history for the most catches by a tight end and was selected to his first Pro Bowl.  2007 was a stand out year for Witten.  His 15 receptions against the Detroit Lions, on December 9, tied an NFL record set by Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow Sr. for most receptions by a tight end in a single game. That same year, he was one of 13 Cowboys players selected to the Pro Bowl (an NFL record for one team in the same year),  he made the 2007 All-Pro team in addition to being nominated for the 2007 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.  His talent on the field is so respected that Witten has been selected to the Pro Bowl six years in a row since 2004 with two back to back All-Pro selections in 2008 and 2009.  Now enough stats, lets talk physical, LOL!!!  OMG, when I see #82 running out on the field, I feel warm fuzzies and I get light headed!!  His classic good looks, the blue eyes, the strong chin and jaw line are enough to get anyone worked up, but then he smiles especially after a good play and I swear I can’t breathe sometimes looking at him!  If he is standing next to Tony Romo, then I am totally undone by the double sexy factor! While Witten is catching footballs, he is also catching the attention and hearts of millions of ladies across the country!   Trust and believe he has this DMV resident yelling “How ‘Bout Them FINE Cowboys!!”
