Head to Toe! Cuties of the Week

Cutie of the Week, Pro Player Info — By on October 27, 2010 at 10:52 AM

Here’s a little something to get you through the rest of the week. Enjoy.

Visanthe Shiancoe, Warm-Hearted Warrior

Tight End, #81 Minnesota Vikings

Visanthe Shiancoe

I see this man and immediately hear Isaac Hayes singing about Shaft, “right on.” But Shank is what they call him. Plenty of other names come to mind for this sexy tight end. (And if you happened to catch that untimely all access TV interview of him in the locker room, you know he picked the right position.)  The FOX TV crew that mistakenly captured him full frontal apologized, but not before the spot worked its way around the internet. He works hard every day and it shows, following his Shiancoe diet and fitness regimen that wins him favor from coaches and teammates. “I think the sky’s the limit for a guy like Shank,” said his quarterback Brett Favre.  The Morgan State alumnus is also noted for his cool demeanor, which could be a result of understanding that there are much graver situations than football. His mother is from Liberia, his father Ghanaian. The stories his uncles shared about the bloody Civil Wars in their countries keep him humbly civic-minded. One of his personal goals is to open an orphanage in his mother’s home country. So looks good AND he he’s sensitive and caring? What more could you ask for? The strut of this 6’5” hottie who has skin as smooth as licorice bespeaks his confidence – he knows he’s fine. He’s taken (lucky girl) and continues to be his mother’s son, taking every opportunity to spend time with her, his brother and his childhood friends. We’re just happy to get a glimpse of him on Sundays so keep it up Shank!

Johnny Knox, Look at those Eyes

Wide Receiver, #13 Chicago Bears

Johnny Knox

Mesmerizing, hypnotizing green eyes. Gritty determination. Speed. And gosh darn it, the man just looks like a soldier in his uniform. Last year, Johnny Knox worked his way onto the field and into the hearts of many. The receiver was a request from a Sideline Pass fan who found him to be just scrumptious. The 2009 5th round pick from Abilene Christian University registered a 5-touchdown rookie season, showing off his speed on the field. He was more dangerous as a kickoff man, racking up 927 yards for the season, including a 102-yd TD return. What do they feed them down there in Texas?  Last year he found a spot on the Pro Bowl roster as a return man.. (Insert all baby come back to me references here!) However, it’s been a tough start this year. The seesaw performances of Cutler and the entire team leave many fans shaking their heads wondering what happened. But all that fades away when you see this man smile. It’s delicious. I believe that he’ll bring back da’ Bears glory.

Patrick Willis, What you talkin’ about?

Linebacker, #52 San Francisco 49ers

Patrick Willis

I had to take a few deep breaths on this one. If you haven’t seen the ESPN Body Issue, you’re missing a treat. If you have, then you know what I mean. San Francisco 49ers inside linebacker (LB) deserves his own line of something – shirts, pants, whatever! We just need to see more of him. At least we got a glimpse of the glory in the magazine. Sure, the muscles are ripplin’ – rip-lin! But that’s not what draws me in. It’s something about that smirky smile that suggests a lot more than meets the eye. The way the man looks at you makes you just wonder …. “What’s that all about?”  The Ole Miss alumni won the 2006 Butkus Award and the Jack Lambert Award as the nation’s top collegiate linebacker – that’s some high praise. He then steps into the NFL and does it again, earning the 2007 AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Award and the 2009 Pro Butkus Award. It doesn’t get much better than this ladies. Like earlier cutie Shiancoe, he has had a tough life, being separated from birth parents early. But the heart of this linebacker is big – even bigger than those biceps. He plays like a winner. He looks like a winner.  I expect an award named after him if he keeps this up.  I was teasing you all – here’s a body pic!

SCRUMPTIOUS is definitely the word for all three of these. I always think nasty thoughts whenever I even hear Shiancoe’s name, thanks to that locker room shot (lol), but the eyes have it every time for me, and Johnny really “Knox” me out!
And yes, I have the ESPN Body Issue.

Since this is a family show, I couldn’t use the Shiancoe’s locker room shot…but that doesn’t mean I didn’t look (ROTFL)!!!! When I watched Knox do his thing against the Redskins last week, I couldn’t WAIT to get him up on the list!!! Willis….just re-dayum-diculous (lol)!!!
