EJECTED! The newly appointed NBA Commissioner Adam Silver was swift and stern with justice against the Clippers owner Donald Sterling. The official verdict:
- Donald Sterling is banned for life from Clippers organization.
- Fined $2.5 million – maximum allowed under #NBA constitution.
- Encouraging the Board of Governors to force a sale of the Clippers.
Silver also said that, “we will urge the Board of Governors to force Sterling to sell the team.” Questions from the audience were general, but some asked about Magic Johnson’s potential ownership in particular. Magic tweeted his opinion of the verdict.
Commissioner Silver showed great leadership in banning LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling for life.

Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, weighed in on the punishment on Twitter. Earlier, he was clear that this verdict could be a “slippery slope” but he seems to be fully behind this finding.
I agree 100% with Commissioner Silvers findings and the actions taken against Donald Sterling
