Keshi’s Cuties: Super Bowl Cuties- San Francisco 49ers

Ball Girls — By on February 1, 2013 at 3:18 PM

Ladies, this is the 49ers edition of the Super Bowl Cuties. Can I say they have brought the thunder on the field and the heat with their fineness!! From Colin Kaepernick to Patrick Willis, and Vernon Davis this West Coast team is HOT!! Please remember to vote, share the link, RT, copy & paste in email, FB group etc… and leave comments on the page. The goal is to get people talking to each other, as well share names and ideas of future guys to add to the list. I’m always sad at the season’s end. The excitement, the bonding, and the trash talking amongst women about their favorite players and teams are my fuel! I know I say it each year, but you ladies are my inspiration. Ladies, thank you once again for your loyal readership, following, and support! Continue to spread the word and help grow the fan base with the goal to get up to 50 comments a page! Ladies you know what to do…..ENJOY!!!  – (Ravens Cuties are on the way!)

Carlos Rogers #22 • Cornerback

Carlos looking smooth with Sideline Pass!  Thanks Nordstrom!

“Don’t call it a comeback. I’ve been here for years…” LLCoolJ’s hit “Momma said Knock You Out” comes to mind when I think about 49ers’ corner back Carlos Rogers. For yeas this standout cover corner from Auburn University struggled to truly establish himself in Washington with the Redskins. Second behind DeAngelo Hall, Rogers was constantly criticized for dropping interceptions and inconsistent play on the field. In addition in 2007, he suffered a season ending injury after tearing both his ACL and MCL.

Rogers was rewarded for his work!.

Rogers was rewarded for his work!.

Additionally, he upset the fan base with a comment about his perceived lack of support for the team in tough times. Despite being selected in the 1st round of the 2005 NFL Draft, Rogers was released in the 2011 off season and signed a one year deal with the 49ers as a free agent.

In San Francisco the fans were given a treat. Rogers finally resembled the player that won the Jim Thorpe Award given to the best defensive back in the country.

In one season with the 49ers, Rogers recorded six INTs and was nominated as a starter for his first Pro Bowl appearance. His production also secured him a four-year contract and a trip to the Super Bowl. So just like LL Rogers is knocking out the ladies with his smooth off the field look. While the muscles are beautiful in his 6 ft frame, I also enjoy the view of a well pleated suit and a tailor made jacket. Just like it seems that Carlos Rogers is tailor made for the 49ers!

Donte Whitner #31 • Strong Safety

Whitner hits hard for the Niners.

Whitner hits hard for the Niners.

Donte Whitner was another excellent free agency signing for the 49ers! Whitner was a first round draft pick of the Buffalo Bills out of Ohio State in 2006. He had his highest number of tackles in 2010 with 96 solo tackles and 44 assisted tackles. The next year 2011 he signed with 49ers. In the last two years he has a combined total of 145 tackles, three forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and an INT returned this past season for a touchdown. [That's good!]

Last season Pro Football Focus ranked him the sixth-best safety and fourth-best strong safety. Like his teammate Carlos Rogers, Whitner was selected to his first Pro Bowl in 2012 and is considered and intangible contributor to the 49ers defense. I know something else that is intangible and that’s the giddy feeling in the pit of my stomach watching and waiting for him to make a big play. Last year’s hit on the Saints Pierre Thomas left no doubt that Whitner was a force to be taken seriously by offenses.

What I love even more than his play are his ethics and values for hard work. After the hit on Thomas was determined legal, Whitner expressed concern for the safety of his fellow player but was clear about that play being a game changer by giving the ball back to the 49ers. That type of confidence is so sexy. It’s not false bravado or show stopping antics, but it’s also not false humility.

I often talk about looks and body, but confidence, honesty, values and intelligence are even hotter. Whitner has the intelligence factor down as well. He has enrolled in San Jose State University to continue his education and earn his degree in consumer affairs!!! OMG…YES!!! Whitner was an honors student in high school, so he clearly values education. So let’s see ladies. Whitner has ethics, honesty, confidence, brains and OF COURSE the body, lol!! I’m not blind to his beautiful biceps or boyish grin. Like Ray Rice, Whitner is 5ft 8in, and while I’m honest about my fixation for height, I’m enjoying everything wrapped in this package!

Randy Moss #84 • Wide Receiver

Randy Moss - Boss!

Randy Moss – Boss!

There was NO way that I was going to end this season without Randy Moss on my list! For years I’ve gone back and forth about whether or not to include him, due to his antics on and off the field. The realization that he came back one more year to be with this team, to try and get a ring confirmed for me to not let him retire before he made my list.

While not the classic handsome player as some of my other choices, there IS something about Moss that I just can’t put my finger on that makes him attractive to me, lol!!  Maybe it is his impish and Puck-like behavior that has me intrigued. He’s quirky, comical and when he does interviews I wait with baited breath to hear if he will make an off-brand comment.

The antics of Moss are legendary! Drafted out of Marshall by the Vikings in 1998 he took the state of Minnesota and the league on a wild roller coaster ride until 2005 when he was traded to the Raiders. During his time in the purple and gold he established himself as one of the most talented wide receivers in the game. He and then teammate Cris Carter made the Vikings one of the most formidable wide receiving duos in the game.

Unfortunately, controversy seemed to overshadow his play. In 2002 he bumped a meter maid with his car and was initially charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon after marijuana was found in his car. In 2004 in a game against the Skins he walked off the field with time still on the clock and went into the locker room. The move that helped get him kicked out of a Viking uniform for good was his stunt when he pretended to moon the Packers fans in the end zone after he scored a touchdown.

Randy took over Media Day – awesome!

Other controversies included his marijuana use, lack of effort, quitting on routes, and not performing or practicing when he was with the Raiders. All of that seemed to change however, when he was traded to New England. That Moss was focused, hard-working, dedicated and team player determined to help the Patriots win a Super Bowl ring. In the middle of the 2010 season Moss was traded back to the Vikings by the Patriots. He lasted one month with his old team before he was waived and then claimed by the Titans. In 2011 Moss retired only to come back this season to play for the 49ers.

With his personality and rich NFL background I HAD to add Moss to the list! Besides he’s not hard on the eyes either. He has one of the most infectious smiles and of course the dimples. His body is lean and chiseled and he looks so graceful and elegant when he plays. He is poetry and artistry in motion. I don’t know when he will retire again, but I do know that the game will NEVER be the same!!
