Know Your Football Positions

The players may change based on the offensive or defensive scheme. Also, there are different setups for special teams plays, such as the punting unit or kickoff return team. We’ll deal with those more thoroughly throughout the season. Also, we’ll go through the nuances of each position in the Weekly Wink, the Sideline Pass Newsletter, beginning next Tuesday! T= Tackle
G= Guard
C= Center
QB = Quarter Back
TE = Tight End
WR = Wide Receiver
FB = Fullback
HB = Halfback

E = End

ML = Middle Linebacker
OL = Outside Linebacker
CB = Cornerback
S = Safety
