Waiting for the Call

Waiting for the Call

My son, Jay, is now an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career. July 26th was the first day that veteran free agents could be called. I tried not to think about when the call will come but in my heart, I keep hoping it will be soon.

NFL Moms on the Field

NFL Moms on the Field

Anyone who uses the term “dumb jock” has never played football! That term is really an oxymoron. You have to have a quick mind, quick feet and a lot of stamina to play football and be successful at it.

Tressel – The Other Side of the Story

My son was in Coach Tressel’s first recruiting class. I have had the joy of watching him lead him and the other team members. I have seen him take time to ensure that family came first.

Raising the Bar

Raising the Bar

I cannot believe it has been a week since we had Jay’s First Annual Life Skills Camp (www.JayRichardson98.com).  During the last six weeks, I spent an average of 10 hours a day with all the details involved. It was worth every hour of phone calling, internet researching, coordinating and meeting. One young man walked up [...]

She is promoting awareness of sexually abused children and is the need for better legislation. I am going to walk the [...]
