discovered exactly how football works when a boyfriend took the time to explain it all step-by-step. She’s been hooked ever since. Little did he know that he lit a huge fire in this savvy woman.

Now, this diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan talks the game with the best of them. She’s a bit wary at the moment – the team traded her absolute favorite player Donovan McNabb to division rival Washington. “I just don’t’ understand it. What am I going to do when the Eagles play the Redskins?,” she’s wondering already. She will buy a burgundy and gold No. 5 jersey, no doubt but it will be tough.

At one point, Tammy worked on assignment overseas in Cambodia. She only got to see one NFL game each week – and that was dependent upon what the station would choose to show. “I felt like I was losing my mind. I’d have to call friends and family to get updates, it was horrible!,” she said. What happened the day of the Super Bowl? “Well there’s a 12-hour time difference so the game was airing right in the middle of the workday. I had to call in and take the day off. There was no way I could miss it,” Tammy recalled. According to her the trip was incredible, with the lack of NFL access being the only thing she would change.

With a new book being published next month, Tammy hopes to be on the road. The topic is networking which is important to anyone – particularly those in sports. Her passion for sports is only paralleled by her love of creating successful enterprises and enterprising people. “I implore women to learn about sports, just as they brush up on other news and information as they work to create their space in the business world.”

We’ll keep you posted on her book and how she handles the upcoming season. As for how Tammy should handle those two division games each year? I suggested that she wear the Eagles No. 5 in the first half and the Redskins No. 5 in the second half. Let’s see how she makes it.
