Through “the movement,” Tanya has dedicated herself to reaffirming for women the true definition of sensuality as a way to experience life with all of five senses – as fully as possible. Tanya believes that the full life is the result of self- (re)discovery and awareness of balance. Her range of services inlcude group dance and fitness classes, nutritional training and customer-acclaimed playshops™ for women through which she works one-on-one and in small groups to develop personalized strategies for health and balance. During her 18 successful years in corporate America, Tanya recognized the challenge and developed her own strategies for creating feminine balance in her busy life, and kindled a passion for supporting others as they do the same. She quit her career as a business consultant to launch the sensual movement.

Tanya has studied various styles of dance since the age of 6, including various styles of West African, modern, jazz, Brazilian, Latin dance. She believes music, dance and body movement are at the core of feminine balance. She continues to dance and perform in the Bay Area with Brazilian dance group Fogo Na Ropa. An avid fitness and nutrition enthusiast previously certified as a personal trainer, she holds a certification in group fitness instruction (ACE), female sexuality and natural health, a license in Zumba Fitness instruction and continues to pursue additional credentials across a variety of topic areas including dance, fitness and nutrition.
