The Living Legends Luncheon

While I was there as media, I couldn’t hide my Sideline Pass fanhood at the Living Legends Luncheon hosted by the NFL Father’s Association. The breezy backdrop of the Miami air was perfect as the rooftop luncheon got underway. Parents, sisters, godmothers and spouses gathered to pay tribute to three NFL professionals who embodied the ideals of the group: dedicated family support and concern for others. The Brown’s Josh Cribbs, The Super Bowl Winning Saints’ Darren Sharper and CBS Sportscaster James Brown were honorees. Around the league, their teammates and cohorts tell tale of their genuine humanity. While the weekend’s highlight was most certainly Sunday’s game, the families and friends of these players were on hand to share in the honor. Check out the photos!
