    Thanks for sharing this interview!

I would love to get a job in sports, specifically on the statistics side.

  2. Jen says:

Due to the expansion of women’s sports in general, we see far more opportunity than when I was pursuing a career in the field.

I played basketball, tennis, volleyball and never KNEW it was possible for me to really be a part of what I viewed as a man’s world…. My focus was more aligned with trying to be a Physical Education teacher as opposed to a an Agent or a Coach.

Everything must change…that’s the good news!

Get out there on the field and play ladies it’s your time to KICK IT! I hope that came through loud and clear with Rolanda’s interview!

    Thanks Rolanda!

Rolanda – thanks for sharing your insight. As Mia knows from talking/tweeting with me – I love sports – used to design trading cards for the NFL/NHL. Been a sports fan for a very long time. Mia and I got to know each other during NFL season by tweeting football games. I have such a diverse background, but my love of the game is what drives my passion.

And hey – you are not old. he he. Just seasoned!!!

    You go girl.

  4. Excellent p’cast and I can somewhat relate to begging for a chance to get in this biz. Working with W+K, though, that’s ginormous in itself.
